The pictures make this thing look a bit more solid than it really is. It comes with some plastic shims you can insert to kind of hold its shape, but good luck. If you hang it from a seat it’ll work fine but I wouldn’t plan on standing it up like a regular trash can. The top hole works pretty well and there are side storage nets, although if you miss with a drink or something it’ll get those things wet. I guess it’s easy to empty, just disconnect the straps and dump it out. If you don’t use a liner (like me) you might buy some latex gloves to keep around for emptying and cleaning it from time to time. At the end of the day it works (it holds trash) but it is nowhere near as sturdy as the pictures pretend.

There are several nice things about this product. First off, it’s a great idea for a person that does not have passengers in the back seat. It’s designed to have an internal bag that is removable, nice to get the trash out of the car before it begins to stink. And it’s of a good size for a road trip. I did have to alter the plastic support straps that hold the sides rigid. Without the support straps the sides would collapse and they came longer than they needed to be, in fact, they didn’t fit at all. I had to cut off about 3/8ths of an inch with a scissors to get them to fit in their holders. Other than that, it seems to work great…

I’m always looking for a small trash can for me to use in the front of my car. the HOTOR Car Trash Can has served this purpose nicely. It fits snugly up against the front dash still giving the passenger room for their feet. It’s easy to reach and easy to empty, and it hides the trash inside nicely. I’m happy with the HOTOR Car Trash Can and would buy another, maybe in another color, and would recommend it to others.

This is a nice trash 🗑️ can. This is truly a road trip trash can but it’s sorta flimsy. One wrong touch and it may collapse but when you throw away enough trash it keeps it form.

I put this on the floor of my car with the strap wrapped around the center console. I had a tough time with the supports until I realized they were actually too long. I cut maybe a centimeter off one end, then curved the corners so it wouldn’t be sharp. The support sliding perfectly and holds well. My husband and mother both commented on how nice this item is. I’m planning on gifting them each one for Christmas.
It’s inexpensive, unobtrusive, and stops my trash from spilling all over my car. I’m happy.

Lovely profuct, its high wuality and comes in handy..but…the lack of inner structure means its always floppy (deflated) and as a result, its actually pointless to try to throw some trash in there, I often use the slit to realize the trash is on the floor.
Bags? Forget about bags its gimmicky and so annoying to put it in, I gave up.
I will be making my own inner structural support to keep this bin ‘square’ and see how it goes, I’ll be bending metal coat hangers in a square shape.
Shame, because it really is high quality, but it’s poorly designed for daily use.

Thought i ordered the one with a zippered top, guess I overlooked it. It has no zipper and the side braces were very difficult to get in place. Got one 1 ,tge other one wouldn’t fit in, but it will work, and that was the purpose of this buy. Like that it came with bags. So far it’s great. Fits almost anywhere in the truck.
