I do want a reusable filter, but this filter clogs too quickly, faster than a paper filter. If I try to suck up fine dirt with it, it clogs almost immediately. Maybe I will need to buy two of these filters in order to finish each cleaning job, or three.

Major improvement from the paper/fabric filter. The original filter would clog up pretty instantly and massively reduce the suction power until it was removed and cleaned. Once installing this metal filter I have been able to vacuum for about 4 times longer before needing to remove it and clean it due to reduced suction power. I also feel like it locks in more dust and debris and keeps the air cleaner. Very pleased with my $10 upgrade.
