    Great little vaccum to keep in the car. I have 2 kids so having this handy makes life that much easier. I like that I can do wet or dry vaccumingwith it and the brush attachment is great for the vents. My only wish was that it could charge via the cigarette plug and be used even when the car is off. Otherwise, great quality, good suction, easy to clean, and comes in a nice carry bag.

    Don’t be fooled. This is a small Vacuum. If your car is very dirty, you’ll likely need to empty and brush the filter multiple times the first time you clean your car. It seems best suited for regular use for this reason. It is a small vacuum meant to run on significantly less power than a full home vacuum. Keep your expectations set well. Figure out the right habits and tricks to deal with the messy bits of cleaning and it seems it should be an important addition to my #vanlife…

    ★★★★ because I don’t expect it to be a full size home vacuum. Because in comparison to all my research they have the best customer service and replacement if you get a bad one.

    👍 GOOD:
    It sucks well. The parts all fit together nicely. The parts are helpful to getting the car clean. Follow the instructions to keep your car safe, your car’s battery safe, and good suction. It was able to dislodge particles in crevices, and brush out a good portion of particulates from my carpets. My carpets are super dirty so it may take a couple cleanings before I’d call them clean.

    👎 BAD:
    * Sadly, the first time I tried to lift the bag off the table using the handles the handle tore. Seems like poor stitching placement didn’t get a good grip. Shouldn’t be too hard to mend but was disappointing.
    * Not bad but odd, the sticker on the box claims 4th Gen, but I ordered a 5th Gen. However, it appears I got a 5th Gen by comparing photos with the device I received.

    👌 EXTRA TIPS:
    * Be careful when prepping to dump, it will be messy. Either do it over a nice large trash bag or on a table top surface easily cleaned. Dust will get stuck to the plastic and lightly shake out.
    * It may take a long time to clean the filter using water and letting it dry. Try this instead: Separate the filter and tap the filter on a clean table with the wide part down. Flip it over and tap it on the table. This will dislodge a large portion of the dust collected. Then use a slightly damp 1/8 sheet of paper towel (or other towel) to wipe off dust from the plastic housing, making sure you keep dust away from the inside of the filter. Then wipe down the inside of the plastic parts with the same damp towel. Finish by wiping up the table with the towel
    * Follow the instructions about letting the machine rest if you use it for more than twenty minutes. But honestly, if you need to use it that long, you’ve likely got to stop midway to empty it so you may never run into this issue.
    * Keep the plastic bags and put the attachments back in them before putting the device away in its bag. This can help keep the spread of any dust left in the attachments from getting around.

    This portable car vacuum is handy, lightweight and comes along with standard accessories like a transparent extension tube, a black extension tube of almost 60 cms in length, another brushed tip for easy dismantling of accumulated dust particles to the seat and other upholstery in a car.

    Now coming to practicality. The motor is a very powerful one, but after using it for few minutes, say almost 5 minutes, the reservoir was just showing some dust and particles, the suction power started reducing as the HEPA filter became clogged. I understand it is a normal phenomenon, but if you have so much accumulated dust particles to be sucked out, try doing it in 2 episodes. Remove, clean and wash the Hepa Filter, then do it. Hepa filter is a metallic one.
    The provided cord length is very much adequate to hover around the interior of a sedan. It has an illuminated handle with an independent on-off switch which helps to reach out the corners and under the seats where car’s ambient light won’t reach, and a main on-off switch for the vacuum unit. Cigarette lighter adaptor too gets lighted up when connected to a 12v port in your car.
    Overall, it is a decent product, does what it is made for, to note: especially to use in a car.

    I just bought the hotor vaccuum and it works like a dream. It is very powerful and cleans the car from nooks where we cant imagine there would be so much dirt. It makes the experience of cleaning the car so smooth that it doesnot look like an overhead. I think buying it was the best decision i ever made. Thanks to Hotor!

    This great little machine is ideal for those quick tidy ups in between trips. It’s not that powerful though, so for anything other than surface debris, it would be best to use something else with more power.

    So I got this is one as a replacement because my previous one stopped working and it was supposed to have a warranty but I can’t get hold of the seller anymore. So I purchased a new one, hoping that the suction was great and hopefully this one will last longer than my other one. I will see and be able to update this review later on. Meanwhile, I like the fact that the crevice tool is quite small because I can reach mostly all the hidden areas underneath my seat and not leave a bunch of crumbs to set in to my carpet. It comes with an additional filter so that’s always nice. It says it’s a wet/dry vacuum but I’ve yet to test ALL capabilities so I don’t have an opinion on that function. I have little ones and they seem to kill an interior but this is definitely a MUST due to that fact alone. I used it with the brush to break up some debris that was settling into the carpet and it seemed to work well to do the job. The vacuum suction is pretty good. I don’t know about their claim for it being able to suck and hold a iPhone 8 because it wouldn’t hold up my Note 9. However, it did do a good job though. I like how bright the light is when using it for dark areas and I like how small the vacuum is. It’s pretty compact. Comes with a storage bag, which is convenient because I keep mine in the trunk with a bunch of car cleaning supplies. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t take a lot to use it either. My only gripe was that it seems that the cable had a slight shortage near the car port but I’ll look into that again and see if it’s just my car charger in my car. It’s a brand new vehicle so I can’t imagine that it is but if it is, i can address it now. I look forward to keeping and using this vacuum until it stops working.

    OmG I’m so excited!! I just got my hotor car vacuum and the first thing I did was run outside to my car and test it. My car was filthy especially cz of tracking leaves that became stuck on the car floor carpet and cookie crumbs from snacking on the go. Cz of quarantine, I was spending more time driving around in my car to just escape being shut indoors all the time and the mess was starting to drive me crazy. I tried using my shark vacuum to clean the crushed leaves and crumbs but the nozzle was big and wouldn’t fit into the corners and crevices and all it did was push the leaves around and mush them into even smaller pieces. So I finally caved and bought a car vacuum to help with the job. I bought this cz it was cute and not that pricey it also looked small and not too heavy.
    I’m glad I got this one cz it’s pretty lightweight and I can easily hold and manoeuvre it with one hand. The cord is suuuper long and I think it’s long enough for me to clean out the car trunk while it’s plugged in. It also comes with 1 brush attachment, one long bendy tube and one hard plastic tube for getting hard to reach areas. It also comes with an additional filter and a small detailing brush. My favourite thing is the cute and very useful bag that came free with it (see pictures). At first glance the bag looked kinda small but it’s the perfect size for the vacuum plus all it’s fitments. I love that I can store all the little parts together in one bag without losing them and just keep it in the trunk of my car so I can quickly clean up any mess. It’s a cute black color with orange detailing.
    I just used the hotor with the rectangle brush extension and it took 5 minutes to clean up my mats!!! I was also able to use this attachment to suck up the dust that had collected on my dash. The best feature is that it has a small light at the tip so you can see what you’re vacuuming which is hard to do in the car sometimes if your cabin light isn’t very powerful (which mine definitely isn’t).
    I think this will be a godsend for mommies with little ones who snack in the car or just messy eaters like me lol. I’m going to do my other car tomorrow.
